If you don't mind a windy canyon drive on a one lane highway, then take a drive out to these great wineries. These 3 are well known to us locals as being great wineries making really great juice! Ken Volk and the Foxen boys are local legends of winemaking and should be taken as very serious winemakers. Zaca Mesa is one of the early vineyards going back to 1973. Plan to have your picnic here or at Ken Volk while Foxen sits smack in the middle. Plan on buying wine because you will like what they are doing!
